Florida Public Relations Association Announces 51st Annual Golden Image Awards BanquetJULY 22, 2008 –The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) will hold its 51st annual Golden Image Awards banquet on Tuesday, August 5th 2008 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center. The Golden Image Awards competition is conducted annually by FPRA to recognize outstanding public relations programs in Florida and to encourage and promote the development of public relations professionalism in our state. The Golden Image Awards have become a standard of public relations excellence in the state of Florida. Winners demonstrate the very best examples of innovation, planning and design. The awards competition includes four divisions of categories: Public Relations Programs, Printed Tools of Public Relations, Audio/Visual Tools of Public Relations and Student Projects in Public Relations. This year a total of 81 awards will be presented at the August 5th banquet. Tickets to the Golden Image Awards banquet are $125 and can be purchased by calling the FPRA State Office at (941) 365-2135. The Golden Image awards are presented as part of FPRA’s annual conference to be held this year on August 3 – 6 at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Kissimmee.
